SAPS Uitenhage made sure that they live up to their mission statement of "to serve and to protect" by not only securing the community’s safety but also ensuring that their community is healthy as well. Farmers from Patensie donated more than 1 000 bags of oranges to Uitenhage Police. These oranges were distributed to old age homes, schools and other institutions in the area. Pat and Patsie from Patensie accompanied the Police to make sure that the children received their fair dosage of Vitamin C.
